August 2021

As summer comes to a close, it was amazing the amount of events and activities that were held here in the Third District. You may have seen Councilwoman Price at the council meetings, the community concerts, the Muni Band concert, volunteering with the Wilson Key Club, the City's 2030 Strategic Plan meeting, providing updates to the Spinnaker Bay community, and honoring the incredible Kim Hill - the US Gold medalist in indoor volleyball from the Tokyo Olympics games. Thank you to all residents for creating such a wonderful community.

June 2021

Happy Summer Third District! Councilwoman Price was busy this month with Council Meetings, neighborhood association meetings, and community meetings. Even more exciting is that elementary, middle, high school, and college aged interns applied and were selected to participate in our Summer Internship Program. Looking forward to working these future leaders!

April 2021

Happy April everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful month. Councilwoman Price absolutely did and we hope you were able to see her at some of her events around the city and district. She participated in the Budget Oversight Committee Meeting, welcomed Collosus Bread to Belmont Shore, attended the Crow's Cocktails of Naples Reopening, planted trees for Arbor Day, and went to view the beach concession stands at Junipero Beach.

March 2021

Happy Nowruz, 3rd District of LB! March was a wonderful month. Councilwoman Price was busy with meetings about Belmont Pier, attending community meetings such as Belmont Shore Resident Association's meeting, hosting and participating in the Beyond Assumptions Discussion, had a conversation with Mayor Garcia hosted with Lietenant Governor Kounalakis, hosted a conversation on raising the next generation of female leaders at the Girl Dad's event, and, of course, advocating and participating in the City of Long Beach Council Meeting. Looking forward to productive months such as this March!

February 2021

Happy Valentine's day to you and your loved ones. Councilwoman Price continued to show her love for our 3rd district by being fully committed and advocating at Council Meetings, attending the AES virtual ribbon cutting ceremony, participating in Wilson High School's Orange Day, attending the CA Coastal Commission's support of the Belmont Pool,
attending Gypsy's Persian Grill receiving the Long Beach Restaurant Association award, and participating at the Alamitos Bay presentation.

January 2021

Happy New Year, 3rd District! Although 2020 brought many challenges, we are still looking forward to a beautiful and safe new year here in the district. Councilwoman Price has spent the month busy working throughout the district. Hopefully you were able to catch her attending and participating in multiple events such as the 4Girls Organization Empowerment Event, Women's Panel on Leadership, City Council Meetings, and of course community meetings. She also delivered a certificate for Evelyn Haesloop’s 100th birthday!

December 2020

Happy Holidays, District 3! 2020 tested our strength and we have risen to the challenge. Councilwoman Price ended the year strong by attending multiple important meetings such as City Council Meetings, Community Meetings, and a Traffic, Safety, and Engineering Meeting. Councilwoman Price and the rest of us at the CD3 team thank you all for a wonderful year.

November 2020

November is always bustling, and this year was no different. Councilwoman Price managed to keep a busy schedule all before the the Thanksgiving holiday. This included City Council Meetings, community meetings, neighborhood association meetings, the famous poinsettia planting, discussions about Simms Ponds, and the presented a certificate to Able ARTS Works.

October 2020

Trick or treat, District 3! Although Halloween had to be celebrated differently this year due to safety precautions and restrictions of COVID-19, it was still a festive month year in District 3. This month was bustling with Councilwoman Price being active in Council Meetings, Community Meetings, and participating in the Women in Politics panel!

September 2020

September was a great and busy month. Community and neighborhood association meeting are back in full swing and Councilwoman Price was busy attending them and meeting up with residents. it's always great to have a solid team of people looking out for the wonderful 3rd district. Councilwoman Price also attended the Long Beach State founder's day, located right here in the 3rd district! This university is her alma mater and a proud establishment in our district. Go Beach!

August 2020

Welcome to August everyone - 2020 appears to be flying by. Councilwoman Price was busy between her career as a District Attorney and as 3rd District Councilwoman. However, she still managed to spend time at the Redondo and 10th Community Garden that 3rd District Field Deputy, Gabriela Yates, has been tending to. Additionally, she has continued to dedicate herself to continuing the response to the Black Lives Matter movement and held a conversation about race and injustice. Have a great month!

July 2020

Happy Fourth of July! This year was celebrated differently due to safety concerns with Covid-19 about large group gatherings. This month we also experienced Black Lives Matter protests and conversations regarding police brutality. Councilwoman Price remained as involved and aware as always in these topics by attending BLM protests, talking with the LBPD, and even holding a community discussion regarding implicit bias.

June 2020

Even with social distancing and masks continuing to be necessary, Councilwoman Price has remained an active and vocal leader during this historical month. During the month of June, we are still surviving through the pandemic of Covid-19 and are simultaneously witnessing history through the anti-racism peaceful protests brought on by the Black Lives Matter movement.

May 2020

With Stay-At-Home orders in place, Councilwoman Price has continued to do her part and lead by example. City Council Meetings are being held virtually every Tuesday evening and she delivered food to first responders and Healthcare workers who are working tirelessly everyday to assist those affected by the virus.

April 2020

From holding Zoom meeting with businesses and constituents to delivering food to First Responders and Healthcare Workers, Councilwoman Price has played an active role in attempting to bring back a safe and "normal" way of life here in the 3rd District during these unprecedented times.

March 2020

The month of March brought about many needed changes here in District, city, and country as Coronavirus has drastically affected our Healthcare System, the economy, and our personal/professional lives. Councilwoman Price was as active as possible during this month from personally thanking Fire Station 8 and 14, attending Virtual City Council Meetings, and playing an active role for Women's History Month!

February 2020

The new year has started off strong and busy as always. Councilwoman Price, alongside her full time job as a District Attorney, was hard at work attending multiple events and meetings around the district. Some included the 2nd Street Grand Opening, City Council Meetings, 3rd District Community Meetings, Constituency Meetings, BHCA Community Meetings, and attending the Hydraulic Pump Pilot. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

January 2020

With the start of the new year, we look to the past to remind us of where we have been and to the future to encourage us on where we can go. Councilwoman Price began the 2020 New Year strong and as involved as ever in order to make the 3rd District the best place possible! This January, she could be seen hard at work at the MLK Day of Service, MLK Jr Parade, Council Meetings, 3rd District Team Meetings, the retirement even of Nelson Kerr, New Opening of the San Pedro Fish Market, and at the flashing beacon installation at 4th and Roswell.

Councilwoman Price started the year busy as always! From attending Women's Empowerment Conferences, award ceremonies, neighborhood community meeting, State of the City, to even assisting in delivering sandbags during this stormy month, she has began 2019 as strong and dedicated as ever.

February 2019

Happy Valentine's Day to you and your loved ones! No one loves the Third District quite like Councilwoman Price. This month she attending Public Safety Meetings, award dinners, neighborhood community meetings, and even a tour of Century at Cabrillo.

March 2019

March is always an engaging month with more than enough events to attend. Events such as Touch a Truck, Tsunami Walk, Make a Difference Day, Black and White Balls, neighborhood community meetings, and celebrating International Women's Day. This month also included the Iranian New Year - Happy Nowruz everyone!

April 2019

April is here and Councilwoman Price has been all over the city during this beautiful month. From Cal State Long Beach Staff Awards, the Grand Prix, community meetings, council meetings, being in the 2nd and PCH video, and heading all the way to USC to engage in a discussion with a Political Science course, she was happy to settle down and listen to Dustbowl Revival at the 5th annual Spring into Summer event.

May 2019

May is here and Long Beach is buzzing with events and activities. Councilwoman Price has been out celebrating the 93rd Annual Alamitos Bay Yacht Club Opening Day, attending the Cottonwood Award Luncheon, 10th Annual Kitefest, Los Cerritos Wetland Fund, tour of The Guidance Center, participated in the Long Beach Theatre Company, and listened to the beautiful music at the Musica Angelica. You may have also seen her at the Long Beach Pride Parade this month. Happy May!

June 2019

Summer is here and District 3 is active with fun outdoor activities. Councilwoman Price has been out and about supporting all the things this district has to offer such as the Naples Pancake Breakfast, Grand Openings, Groundbreakings, meetings with community organizations and summer interns, and hosting the 3rd District Community Meeting.
